Short Films: Themes and Variations
Dynamique de la pénombre
Félix Dufour-Laperrière, Frederic Dallaire
Canada 2012. 12 Min.
bw. DCP. Without dialogue
A path through the forest and the trembling of leaves in the wind that sounds like rain. A woman, a man, a dark room. Rituals of rapprochement. The penumbra as a zone of encounters. Then, again, the forest and its breath. A study of light and shadow, a journey from darkness into light in a wonderful black-and-white, full of greys. (om)
