After years apart, a couple returns to Vienna. The film observes their struggle to build a life together in the midst of everyday life, odd jobs, bureaucracy and exclusion. The result is a moving portrait of love, pain and the hope of belonging. It is the quiet and haunting story of a couple who defy the odds and find the courage to fight for a home. Viktoria is Austrian, Siaka is Gambian.
