The Book of Joy

  • Camille Lugan

Joy was orphaned and raised by a priest. She plays the organ, comforts churchgoers and feeds the homeless. She lives for her faith and finds fulfilment in it. When the injured Andriy seeks refuge in her church, everything changes. Fascinated, she follows him into his world of temptation and danger, into a gang of petty criminals. A coming-of-age drama about desire between morality and social abysses.
