We see a quiet suburb of terraced houses and manicured gardens, surrounded by fields and greenhouses. Everyday life is orderly, almost idyllic. When several Roma families move in, the facade of quiet normality begins to crumble. There are calls to evict them, but some women take them under their wing. One of them is Valérie, who calmly writes letters to her daughter about the Roma. About their daily lives, their hardships and their disappearance.
