In a dystopian world where closeness and touch are forbidden, Matta and Matto offer the lonely a place of refuge in their traveling hotel. In the rooms of the Hotel Vaip, the deepest longings are fulfilled and surpassed, but at a price.

Bianca Caderas und Kerstin Zemp
Bianca Caderas and Kerstin Zemp completed their studies at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2016 with a film that caused an international sensation. Both then move abroad for several years. Bianca Caderas to Hamburg to study film, Kerstin Zemp to Ireland, where she works as a freelance illustrator and animator. Matta and Matto 2023 is their second short film together.
