Eva and her assistant Rami are editing a documentary about blind people that was started by a recently deceased friend. Together they watch, organize and discuss the material in front of them. For all the poetry that lies in the reflection on content, when Eva discusses the selection of film sequences with her assistant, or talks to students about the handling of archive material, the film is a melancholy meditation on painful transitions and an ode to grief and the endurance of loss; the loss of a beloved friend, the loss of sight or the loss of enthusiasm for one's own work. It is also a film about cinema and the craft of editing, as well as the painful transition for many from an analog world to a digital one. The film is dedicated to the documentary filmmaker Pablo Baur, who died in 2019.
