Chuck and Harmony are traveling through the vastness of the United States in their motorhome. They drive along highways, have picnics and sit around campfires. Matt holds her hand in the car, but doesn't feel entirely comfortable doing so. Their often oppressive dialog is unintentionally cheerful and Harmony surprises us again and again with her encyclopaedic knowledge. At one point, Chuck wants to know if she likes s'mores. She doesn't know. But she does like the book "The Age of Spiritual Machines" by Ray Kurzweil. Harmony is happy. That's her job. But her relationship with Chuck is a challenge for him. Harmony is a humanoid robot. At the same time in Tokyo. Pepper moves in with Mrs. Sakurai. He is a robot who is supposed to keep her company and pass the time. Pepper is a likeable, if somewhat headstrong, fellow who shows little interest in the conversations with Mrs. Sakurai. Mrs. Sakurai blossoms and devotes herself to raising the little one.
