A lawyer from Colombia, whose husband dies under mysterious circumstances, flees to Canada and overcomes the difficulties of settling in. Together with her daughter, she tries to adjust to her new life. But tugging at it are dreamlike and traumatic images from the past.

Lina Rodríguez
Born in Colombia, Lina Rodríguez has lived in Canada since 2000, where she studied film and video production at York University in Toronto. Her feature films are about urban middle-class women and their fumbling search for self-determination and adaptation.
