Lucy Betulius
Born and raised in Zurich, Lucy Betulius made her first film during her final year at the Atelierschule Zurich and discovered her passion for film. Her first film Seven Cigarettes away from home won the Gässli U21 Prize and 3rd place at the Swiss Youth Film Festival and was shown at various festivals in German-speaking countries. This was followed by several independent projects and then in October 2019 she moved to Berlin to study directing at Filmarche e.V. Since October 2021, Lucy Betulius has been studying film and television production at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, while also realizing short film projects in Germany and Switzerland, such as her current work Wände, which was created in close collaboration with her sister Ruby Betulius.
