UN, DEUX, TROIS, CRÉPUSCULE

Another play on words, this time about the name of the children's game "Statues", which is called "Un, deux, trois, soleil" in French. Dufour-Laperrière has replaced the sun with twilight, which is not particularly surprising given his love of shadows. Interestingly, this film is his most colourful and texture-rich work alongside Archipelago, and it is hypnotic in the way in which it continually reinvents itself!
