HEAD

"Head" is written at the beginning of all starting reels, those feet of film that the audience only get to see as a result of a projectionist's mistake, but without which no films could be shown, for technical reasons. The starting reel is a strange realm of possibilities, which is evoked in Head as a true head trip. In this way, the film is also an experiment about all the paths which the starting reel reminds us of: from the railway via the river to the forest path.
